PA DJ and Lighting Setup

PA and Lighting setup for a recent DJ gig at a 50th birthday party.

PA system, with 11x floodlights and 2x moving head spotlights all computer controlled. The music was a mix of genres, as requested by the client, covering 80s & 90s pop, neotango, ballroom, and club dance.

A single-speaker installation for the discussion panels that were run throughout the day.

Herstmonceux Tango Festival, September 2018

A simple sound system for a tango DJ and live two-piece band, installed as unobtrusively as possible at the side of a dance hall. The overriding factor here was sound quality and ease of listening, not volume.

Biggin Hill Festival of Flight, August 2018

We installed a sound system for the RAF100 tent at the festival, for a series of vintage singers appearing on stage. This rig also included basic lighting to give a bit of warmth to the stage.

Big O Vintage Festival, August 2018

This was a relatively large installation with an outdoor stage (provided by the client). Acts included single vocalists with backing music, to 6-piece rock bands with backline amplification of their own.
